  • Images, tables etc within the text area

Very unfortunately, Flash 5 does NOT support images, tables or JavaScript coding to be inserted within the text area itself. This is a Flash restriction and not particularly related to our system.

Simply put it means you can not include images, tables atcetera within the text boxes/area. Only plain character attributes and links described at the HTML SINTAX section.

  • Highlights (for those who hate reading)

FlashToGo has a full disclosure policy and a reputation of being honest and detailed when communicating with customers and prospects.

We ask our prospects to read our Terms of Service and encourage them to post their questions when needed. Here you will find some important highlights.

Customers can not build or generate sites or interfaces for different companies, business models or ventures under the same single account.

It is acceptable though, to generate the site for the same company/business in different languages or even hosted at different Domains (company_x.com, company_x.net), as long as it pertains to the same organization and refers to the same business or venture.

Holdings that are in control of different ventures, can not use a single account to generate sites or interfaces for those many ventures, even if those pertains to the same company.

Under NO circumstances, FlashToGo will make available the original source code (.fla) of the movies. Please do not insist because it is not possible. The sites are generated on-the-fly and the codes integrate to our system and databases. In addition, there is no need for that.

Advanced users can upload additional Flash movies to the main interface, such as animated logos, sub-menus, multiple images etcetera. In case you absolutely need some custom addition made to the original template, we can perform these additions for you at a very reasonable hourly rated fee. You can have a pretty much exclusive template for your exclusive use.

FlashToGo is a subscription-based service. That means, if your subscription expires, so as the editing/updating service provided by FlashToGo.

The copyrights belong to FlashToGo, except of course, in regards to your own text and images that you might have uploaded to the interface.

You can NOT alter the SKIN chosen after purchase, or opt for a different one. The Skin is the interface itself (the original template). All of the other parameters can be altered, including the Themes (background image), colors, soundtracks, images and text, during the Subscription period.

If you find some issue, that you can not live with :-), within 10 days from the date of the subscription (first payment), we can exchange the Skin you have originally chosen for some other equivalent model.

In case you find some (unlikely) bug, at any time, we will fix it within 1-2 business days.

All sales/subscriptions are final. We provide means for ALL the interfaces to be tested before signing up.

Test them and see which one best suits your needs. If you have questions, please refer to our Support Center or contact our Support Team at support@FlashToGo.com.

If your company goes busted right after you signed up :-), you won’t need to pay the second installment, we understand such may happen, but please do not ask for a refund. In that case, as a subscription-based service, the service will also be discontinued when the second installment is overdue. In that case, you can not use the site or CD-Rom interface. We hope you understand.

  • Focus on "Usability"

FlashToGo is a design-oriented web design agency. Our main concern when developing the FlashToGo engine was to ensure the final web sites generated must look great.

In addition, the engine should be as easy to use as possible for the novice, non-tech user.

Because of that, there are a few restrictions, and a few turnarounds though.

  • Typology

In order to preserve the quality of the designs, you can not alter the typology for the Titles, Buttons and such.

The Corporate, Premium and Portfolio Series however, support basic HTML coding within the main text boxes. That means, if you are a bit HTML savvy, you might be able to perform some text alterations within the text boxes (including typology, colors, size, alignment etcetera).

The amount of text is limited to a certain number of characters, and those can not be altered (except for the Corporate and Premium Series main text boxes).

  • Links and Text Effects inside the text boxes

Since the Master Series does not support HTML coding, you can not insert text links within the main text boxes (boxes).

If you need this feature, you should opt for the Corporate, Premium or Portfolio Series, since these Series support basic HTML coding within the main text boxes.

  • Editing

Editing the main movie itself must be done via the FlashToGo Online Editor. You will not receive the source-codes (.fla) and you don't need them.

  • You can not resell, distribute or generate multiple web sites.

The Subscription does not entitle users to resell, distribute or generate sites or interfaces for other companies, divisions, subsidiaries etcetera. Even if those interfaces are meant to be used by members of the same holding. We hope you understand.

  • Image Upload

The image size is restriced to 25 kbytes (60kb for background image).

This restriction is ONLY to preserve the performance of the generated Flash site, so it will load fast.

Only regular .JPG images are supported.
